General Jackson Showboat

Founded in 1985, the General Jackson Showboat is one of the largest showboats in the United States. It is a 300-foot paddlewheel riverboat with three stories and several decks and is available for midday, evening, and party and special-event cruises. The boat houses a two-story Victorian Theater, which hosts live shows and musical events, including country and Broadway-style music. The General Jackson Showboat has a seating capacity of over 1,000 passengers. It hosts a variety of events, such as corporate parties, family reunions, weddings ceremonies, receptions, trade shows and convention events. Located in Nashville, Tenn., the General Jackson is owned by Gaylord Entertainment, which is one of the leading hospitality and entertainment companies in the U.S.
